Read: 3 John 1

Key Verse: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 1:4

How many myths have you believed in your life? Can you name five? There are misleading assumptions, methods, and conclusions. Have you ever watched someone you love walk down a path in life that you knew was headed toward trouble? Have you ever helped someone steer clear of a disastrous trap or destiny? The apostle John describes the pure joy of seeing someone thrive spiritually and with the decisions of life.

Do you have any biological children or kids that look up to you? How are you pointing them to Jesus? Some children need extra prayer, extra reminders, extra Bible verses, extra time that you are listening to them, or extra invitations to church. Go the second mile. Understand how each child is wired, then give them spiritual food. Leading children to Jesus, especially the ones God has placed in your life, is a top priority. You are probably their main source of encouragement for their faith.
