Read: Song Of Songs 8

Key Verse: “Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned.” - Song Of Songs 8:7

There is nothing that can compare with love. In a materialistic culture, many people spend their lives pursuing wealth and possessions. Values can become distorted, and the lie that things can satisfy is embraced. The dream house, the expensive custom car, the brand name clothes, the latest technological creations, the phone with the most features, and the vacation home can never fulfill the deepest place in our heart and lives.

Savor the love of God and enjoy every aspect of it. Worship the Lord with freedom and affection. Drink deeply of His grace and goodness. Bring a steady love to your family. A reliable, compassionate presence in all situations. Hold on to the relationships that are based on true love. Patience, kindness, gentleness, unselfishness are clear evidence of a genuine love. Where there is love, it will outlast trials and storms. God’s love is better than life. God’s love should extend into how we treat each other. Tell the people you love how much they mean to you. Do not take them for granted. Raging waters cannot wash away the commitment of true love. Love is a commitment!
