Read:Habakkuk 3

Key Verse: “The sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go on the heights.” - Habakkuk 3:19

There are many definitions of success. How do you describe success and measure it in your life? Habakkuk has absorbed some difficult truths about a coming invasion by the Babylonians and the suffering that he will endure. God challenges the prophet by saying that Habakkuk needs to walk by faith through the storm. Success is not necessarily smooth sailing stages of life. It is much deeper than circumstances.

To walk on the heights includes: 1) A new reliance on the Lord 2) Continuing to praise God and trust Him even when the results are not what you wanted 3) Acknowledging that God is in control and ultimately looking forward to a heavenly eternity with Him 4) Growing in your faith and character through the difficult months and years. Are you ready for God to take you to the next level in your walk with Him? Keep your confidence in God and how He will use your situation to propel you spiritually. You are becoming more like Jesus and there is no greater transformation.
