God’s View Of Our Problems-Part 7

May 9, 2014

The Christian life is a life of faith and a life of grace. If we have never understood this, we will struggle in our walk with the Lord.  We will try to live the Christian life in our own strength. God never intended for us to live this way. When we live this way, our lives will be full of problems that we bring upon ourselves because we try to live the Christian life on our own terms by resisting God; we are prideful.

My friend, in James 4:6 tells us, “But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

You see the Christian life is a life of humility. If we want more of God’s grace it will only come through humility. If we have a lot of problems, more than likely we have a lot of pride. You see, our problems continually remind us that we can’t…He never said we could, but He always said that He would.
