Genuine Humility-Part 4

March 23, 2015

Romans 12:1-2I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Our minds cannot be renewed when we stay up late watching so much junk on television that means nothing.  We are to tired to get up the next day to go to Bible study class or even to church services. My friend, I am not a legalist, I am all about grace, but I want you to understand that we must make a choice in our lives; it is either the god of this world’s system or it is Jehovah God. My friend, I am going with Jehovah God! Amen! I want this to be your own heart as well. That is why the renewing of the mind is so important. Everything in the Christian life slows down when we neglect the Word of God. It is slowed down when we let the “flesh” control our lives instead of letting the Holy Spirit have control of our lives. My friend, we must surrender our lives completely to God, and that means giving Him our time, talents, and resources so He can make us the person that He wants you to be. This is a decision that we are all called to make. What would God have us to do? He would have us to surrender and to think soberly. My friend, get your thinking changed by the renewing of your mind, by the Word of God, and by the Spirit of God because no one else can do it for you.
