The Rewards Of Wisdom

June 12

“My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; for length of days and long life. And peace they will add to you.” - Proverbs 3:1-2

Are you spending time alone with God…having a daily quiet time? In order to be strong in our faith we need to be in the Word of God and learning the facts of God’s Word.

When we lean on the facts of God’s Word and let our feelings come and go as they will it will strengthen our days and bring peace to our soul. God will use our lives for His purposes as we walk in His wisdom and it will make us a wise person. When we open ourselves up to the Word of God and obey His promptings, He makes us peaceful inside. This affects our mind, our speech, and our lives. It affects every part of our being and we become a peaceful person.

As we listen to God by His Spirit and obey His wisdom, this will settle our soul and bring peace and longevity to our lives and we will find favor with God. To walk in wisdom is to lean on Him and He will guide us all the days of our lives.
