The Believer’s Consecration Of The Christ Life-Part 6
July 15, 2014
Isaiah 26:13– “O Lord our God, masters besides You Have had dominion over us; But by You only we make mention of Your name.”
I believe this can be understood as a confession on the part of the children of Israel. Basically, they had been serving other gods and subjecting themselves to the superstitions of the other nations around them. What you see with the children of Israel is what you see in our lives today. At some point in our lives, we have all been guilty of having a divided loyalty to God, and this is something that He will not tolerate. Are you in this state right now? My friend, God wants us to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, because this is what a true disciple is. Remember that “consecration” means to set apart and to dedicate to service. As a child of God, you have been set apart to Him and for Him.
