¹⁸ Zechariah asked the angel, "How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years."

¹⁸ And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.

¹⁸ Zachariah said to the angel, "Do you expect me to believe this? I'm an old man and my wife is an old woman."
