Henry C. Trumball was born at Stonington, Connecticut. Converted to Christ at the age of 21, he became editor of the foremost evangelical publication of the day, The Sunday School Times, despite a limited formal education. He also wrote books, the last of which, How to Deal with Doubts, was completed just prior to his death.
