Storing Up

Today's reading: Psalm 119:9-16

I smiled as I read Psalm 119:11 because it took me back to my Sunday school years--long, long ago. "I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you." This familiar verse is one that is often used as a memory verse (it was for me) and also serves to convey the message that "storing up" or memorizing God's Word is important to keep us focused on God and, thus, something we should be doing.

So would you join me and commit to memorizing one verse together this week? I'd love to know if you're with me and how you're doing through the week. We can do this! Here's our verse:

"I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word." - Psalm 119:16
