Eternal Glimpse

Today's reading: 2 Corinthians 5:1-10

When I read passages that have to do with heaven and spending eternity in the presence of God, a sense of excitement, enthusiasm and hope rises up within me as I focus on what the future holds as a follower of Christ. The reassurance that what is mortal, and what I'm experiencing now, is going to be "swallowed by life" gave me a shot in the arm this morning to make it my aim to do all that I can in this earthly body to please and serve God.

What encouraged you from this passage? How does knowing that as a follower of Christ you have a home in heaven help you be of "good courage"? Tami
