The Comfort of an Angel

According to Gospelherald.com, Kirk Perry, Google’s “Brand Solution” President, was climbing the corporate ladder at Proctor & Gamble, rarely seeing his family, when he received some devastating news. He was on an airport payphone when he learned that his 6-year old daughter had been diagnosed with cancer.

He began sobbing uncontrollably. As he hung up he felt a tap on his shoulder. When he turned around, an elderly lady, without saying a word, gave him a bear hug and wiped the tears from his cheeks. Kirk believes God sent him an angel to comfort him.

Hebrews 13:2 says, “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.”

God can comfort us in many ways. Sometimes it might even be through an angel.
