With two down and one to go, I was making headway in reviewing and critiquing the business plans of some prisoners scheduled for release. It was then I groaned when the facilitator announced it was time to wrap it up.
“Trust me,” the facilitator said, “You don’t want to miss the blessing that comes next. We’re going to have a panel discussion now for you to receive wisdom from all the business leaders here tonight.”
Everyone in the room, even some of the most seasoned, learned something over the next 45 minutes, as the wisdom and experience of each person surfaced. It reminded me of Proverbs 15:22, “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.”
Wisdom can come from one individual, but so much more comes from many.
