Gifts of Service

When confronted with poor cash flow I sometimes put limits on God, assuming that my God given dreams will have to wait. This flawed thinking overlooks what God can accomplish, through His servants, without any cash necessary.

God has dazzled me in the past when he has brought us highly committed volunteers that provided services, instead of cash. Their help over the years has expanded almost every aspect of our ministry.

These special friends modeled what Jesus said about himself in John 13:14-15, “If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I gave an example that you also should do as I did to you.”

Proverbs 20:6 teaches, “Many a man proclaims his own loyalty, But who can find a trustworthy man?”

Don’t overlook your gifts of service as a way to advance God’s Kingdom.
