A Despised Change Agent

Being the change agent in a troubled business can be hard. Brad was sent into a department to turn it around and to set practices and policies in place for long term success.

Many people were resistant to the necessary changes Brad was proposing, including changes that were required by law. One key employee even told Brad that she hated him and his changes.

Becoming disliked was really hard for Brad, yet, he knew what he was requiring from this team was mandatory due to government regulations.

Proverbs 1:32 teaches, ““For the waywardness of the naive will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them.”

When you’re confronted by those who are resistant to necessary change, remember that you are hopefully protecting them from the potential destruction to come.
