Unconventional Worship
By: Rick Boxx

When you think of “worshiping”, what image comes to mind? Groups of believers gathered together, hands raised high singing Christian songs in unison?

Reality is, we were all created to worship God. But we can be uniquely called to worship differently. What Matt discovered is his worship goes outside the walls of the sanctuary, and into the trenches of his career.

Honoring and glorifying God through his interactions with clients, through his core values, and his craftsmanship are all ways Matt worships God.

Colossians 3:23 says “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men.”

Honoring God by living my faith outside the church is worship. We not only worship in song, but also in our everyday deeds. Try worshipping God at work today!

Today’s “Integrity Moment” was adapted with permission from the writings of Matt Cline.
