Love Defined

“Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things." Psalm 107:6-9 NIV

Did you grow up listening to the opinions that others had towards you? Did their opinions somehow define your value in life? The value we have for ourselves will determine the path we choose to take in life.

Sometimes it seems laid out before us and we have no choice but to follow the opinions of others; but that is where we are wrong.

God wants you to know your true value, and the only way to know it is through knowing Him. Don’t let your past define you. God knows your struggles, and He wants to restore your anointing and appointing. He invites us all onto a better path than where our sinful life has led us. Have confidence in God’s character, for He is love. Remember, there is no bigger advocate in your life than God.

Lord, forgive me for the sinful choices I have made in my life. Help me to know my value in You. Redeem me and place me on a better path.

Be encouraged that redemption is available to you.
