Leaving Your First Love-Part 2

November 17

Hebrews 10:25– “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”

It is a sacrifice to serve your the local church and it is also a labor to serve in your local church. We do not want to be people who just sit in church every Sunday and never contribute to the function of our church. Church is like a filling station, it is where you come to learn more about God and to fellowship and encourage one another. Why? Because Monday is coming, work is coming, school is coming, relationships are coming, and problems are coming. There is something about being encouraged and instructed by the Word of God and praying with your brothers and sisters in Christ, that gets us ready for the week ahead.  God is with us, He is observing us, He knows us and He loves us in spite of us and through it all we remain under His grace.
