The Believer’s Consecration Of The Christ Life-Part 7

July 16, 2014

Partly for self and partly for Christ is no way for the Christian to be living. We are neither all out for God, and we are also not all out for the world and this worlds system.  We do pretty good…we are somewhere in the middle, but we are still divided in our loyalty to God. Remember what Elisha said in, 1 King 18:21And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.

My friend, this is how the children of Israel were, and if we are not careful, we too can be like this.  This is no way for a child of God to be living, we have a divided loyalty and it is spiritually draining. Make a decision…if God be God then follow Him and be loyal one hundred percent one-way or the other. Do not be divided and confused and feel pretty good about yourself as you look around at others. Partly for self and partly for Christ is no way for us to be living!
