For The Asking

Today's reading: James 1:2-8

When we find ourselves facing a difficult situation or hard pressed in the middle of a trial, we need God's wisdom so that we can navigate through our circumstances in the best way possible. So how do we go about acquiring godly wisdom? We ask for it--we fix our eyes on God and wholeheartedly ask Him for wisdom. And God, being the incredible Father that He is, will "generously" give it to us. Thank you, God!!

What comfort do you draw from knowing that God's wisdom is freely available to you? Why is keeping our eyes fixed on God at all times so important? Do you need to ask God for wisdom for a situation you're going through right now? Tami
