Good to Remember

Today's reading: Joshua 24:1-13

Looking back and remembering God's provision and faithfulness is something we see taking place over and over throughout the Bible, and we see it in Joshua 24. Joshua gathers together all the tribes of Israel and, speaking on behalf of God, recalls and reminds the Israelites of God's sovereignty, plan and provision, beginning with the fathers of Abraham and continuing forward to the time in which the Israelites were now living.

Do you regularly recall and give thanks for the things God's has done for you? How important is it to you, and especially the next generation, that you remember and give thanks for His past faithfulness and provision in your life? Tami
