Football and Faith
By: Rick Boxx

During lunch, a former professional football player, who later became a businessman, shared with me about his faith at work. “When I was in football,” he said, “and I passionately lunged forward to hit the guy across from me, I was showing God how I loved Him with all my strength.”

“When I left football,” He continued, “I feared I would miss loving God with all my strength. But I discovered that if I gave all I had mentally to the projects I was working on I was still using my strength.

Jesus taught in Mark 12:30, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”

Does God know you love Him with all your strength?
