MEDIATOR
For there is one God and one mediator
between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
who gave himself as a ransom for all men.
1 TIMOTHY 2:5-6
FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, it is not necessary for you to rely on good deeds. Your performance could never earn enough "points" to grant My Father's pardon. Nor do I want you to live in regret over past failures, trying to walk on eggshells to please Me. I am your mediator. Because of My death, your past is forgiven, and because of My spirit living in you, you now have the power to choose right. Your love for Me now motivates you to live for Me. When the enemy accuses you, send him to Me. Through Me you have access to heaven's throne.
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Like the woman accused by hypocritical Pharisees, I feel no condemnation for my confessed thoughtless actions, only forgiveness and love. You stand before the Father as my mediator, pleading my case. I need not fear my day in court because You are there, Lord.
SIMPLE TRUTH
He intercedes for you so you can proceed to Him.
