YOUR STRENGTH

Read: Psalm 59

Key Verse: “O my Strength, I sing praise to You; You, O God, are my fortress, my loving God.” - Psalm 59:17

People are looking to add strength: vitamin supplements, self-help books, weight rooms, creating impressive resumes, chasing promotions, psychological approaches, and flexing muscles at opportune moments. David writes that true strength is not a technique but comes through a relationship with the living God!

God gives you strength to stay faithful, to serve people who are overlooked, to humble yourself in conflict, to keep on praying and not give up, to invest your time and energy into eternally significant causes, and to persevere through adversity. Receive the Holy Spirit today so you will have a source of strength beyond yourself! God is strong and loving; He bolsters those who look to Him.
