Read: Psalm 125

Key Verse: “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.” - Psalm 125:1

Yesterday, I watched a man in our church leave his earthly tent and enter into eternal glory with the Lord. It was absolutely inspiring to see how he handled pancreatic cancer the last six months. A rock, solid in his faith, not denying the pain or suffering, full of prayer and kindness, still praising God, loving his family, speaking tender words with loved ones who visited, giving hope, and the light of Jesus was bright through him.

One thing that stands out to me is how he responded when he heard the news of his cancer. There was shock, but his lifestyle did not really need to change because he was already walking with the Lord with all of his heart. Have you witnessed anyone trusting in God during the most difficult situations? Genuine faith rises above the world and the struggle. Anyone can trust the Lord; it is an outstanding option in any circumstance. The fruit of trusting God is endurance, being anchored in love, and impacting the lives of the people you love and those you don’t even know. The world is looking for people who sincerely live out their faith.
