Read: Psalm 30

Key Verse: “For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” - Psalm 30:5

Some evenings can be lonely, painful, and long. Have you ever cried yourself to sleep? Do not despair. The phrase ‘remain for a night’ describes how a guest stays at a hotel. It is temporary lodging in the same way that sadness will pass.

If you are at a low point, keep looking up to the Lord. His goodness will bring you joy soon.

David says that our rebellion can trigger God’s anger. God is just and righteous, so He does not take sin lightly. His forgiveness, however, is rich and He longs to be gracious to you. Learn from your bad decisions and start a new path with god cheering you forward.
