OLIVE TREES

Read: Psalm 52

Key Verse: “But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever.” Psalm 52:8

Is your faith flourishing? Why? When was the last time you felt like you were growing in your faith and enjoying God? Olive trees live for hundreds of years and are not easily uprooted. Jesus said in John chapter 15 that when you abide in Him, you will bear much fruit.

Flourishing does not just happen by accident. No one just happens to have a great relationship with God. It includes being in the right places: Do you go to church every weekend? Draw near to God through Bible study? Devoted to prayer? When you find out how to flourish spiritually, commit yourself to guarding those aspects of your weekly schedule.
