Read: Psalm 75

Key Verse: “When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who holds its pillars firm.” - Psalm 75:3

People tremble and quake during recession, threats from another country, natural disasters, climate changes, widespread selfishness, health challenges, insecure futures, times of transition, mourning, tragedies, and loss. There are moments when it feels like everything is out of control, scary, and disappointing.

Asaph reminds us not to despair or give in to discouragement. The strong hand of the Lord has not lost its grip on the world. Redemption is coming. God will sustain the earth until the day He chooses when He ushers in heaven. The Lord upholds you when you have no strength left. The Lord does not forsake us. The battle belongs to the Lord. Let your soul rest in His goodness and mercy.
