How To Be Saved-Part 3

April 21, 2014

There are two kinds of faith. There is an “ordinary faith” that all of us have and then there is “saving faith.” Ordinary faith is what we use everyday of our lives. We trust the cars we drive in, the chairs we sit on, the food we eat, etc. We do these things every day and we do not even think about it, but we are exercising “ordinary faith” that these things will do what they were intended to do. Ordinary faith gets us along in our ordinary life, but there is also “saving faith.” How do I get from this earth and into heaven when I die? My friend, before you die you must exercise “saving faith,” you must sit down with “saving faith.” You must believe in, trust in, have faith in the fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for your sin and that He was your substitute. He paid the penalty for your sin debt. That is saving faith.
