Isaiah 55:1-3

Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance. Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you...

God offers to give you what you could never afford to buy!

That’s what grace is all about—God paying for what you could never pay for, and then offering it to you as a gift of love. You could never afford to purchase your forgiveness. We know that because of how much your forgiveness cost—the death of God’s only begotten Son. But God purchased your forgiveness and offers it to you in the person of Jesus Christ.

And with Jesus He also wants to give you eternal life, a calling to ministry, purpose in your existence, joy, fellowship, a sense of wholeness and rightness, overflowing blessings, and a very close relationship with His Holy Spirit.

How foolish it would be to spend your money, time and energy trying to get what the world says will satisfy when God longs to give you all that and more, as you live His way. “Listen, that you may live”...”in abundance”!
