John 14:5-6

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Don’t be hesitant when it comes to sharing with people the truths of the gospel!

When someone asks a question about spiritual things and there is a clear biblical answer, share it boldly, without hesitation or apology. What the bible says, like Jesus’ statement to Thomas, may not fit well with the popular view of the culture surrounding you, but the power of God’s word will never come through when you apologise for it on the way.

Rather, simply say it as truth and if you know a verse of the Bible that talks about it, take them to the verse and show them it. Make sure you have an app on your smartphone that has the Bible on it so that you and they can look at the verse together as you read it.

It doesn’t mean that you club people with the truth. While clearly sharing what the Bible says, make sure you are not the one doing all the talking. Ask questions. Find out what they think. Interact with them. When you don’t know how to respond to something they say, talk with your Christian friends about it and get their ideas. You won’t become an amazing witness for Jesus all at once—but you will gradually grow in this ministry to the people around you.

Get a Bible app on your smartphone, and earmark key verses you could use in sharing your faith.  Write here what Jesus is saying to you personally through our Scripture verse today:
