The Journey with Ron Moore

Time Tested | Psalm 119:137-144

Today's Passage: Psalm 119:137-144
Key Verses: Psalm 119:142-144

Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true. Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight. Your statutes are always righteous; give me understanding that I may live.

Let's pray through our passage today.

Father, everything you do is right. You never make mistakes. Your judgment is pure. Everything you instruct me to do is right. I never have to second-guess your instruction. I know that following you will always keep me on a journey of obedience.

Lord, the saints throughout the years have thoroughly tested your Word. You have always been found trustworthy. "Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true." I can put my full confidence in your Word. I know that you will never let me down.

There are times when trouble comes, when I feel "lowly and despised." I am no stranger to trouble and distress; but when I turn to your Word I find delight and understanding. In your Word there is comfort. In your Word there is confidence. Thank you for teaching me so that I may live.

In Jesus' name. Amen.
