How to Receive the Greatest Reward Possible

May 11

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

2 Corinthians 5:10

I don’t understand much about computers. I can do normal things like type a document, surf the web, and make a simple spreadsheet. But when it comes to fixing problems, my computer goes straight to the professionals who know how to fix it – those folks who know a lot about computers.

You know them… they’re up on all the latest technology, can repair any problem, and have an incredible capacity to work with those machines!

In much the same way, those people who are faithful to the Lord Jesus today and until they meet Him face to face will build a greater capacity to receive His rewards. Yes, every believer in Christ will enjoy the Lord’s presence forever. But for those who are truly faithful with what He’s given them, that reward will be even greater!

Now there are those who take issue with the idea there will be different rewards in heaven, but it’s the truth! God loves to reward His children, and that reward grows with our faithfulness. So steward God’s blessings well and you’ll gain the capacity to experience a greater reward that you could ever imagine!
