“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.”

--John 14:1

Almost everyone believes in God. I think even people who claim to be atheists and agnostics secretly believe in their hearts that there is a God.

But Jesus said it’s not enough just to believe in a God out there somewhere, but to “believe also in me.” To believe in God is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

When we face the impossibilities of life as the disciples were facing in John chapter 14, that’s the time to hang on in faith and to hope on in faith.

Whatever you may be dealing with, be it financial reversals, domestic problems, family tragedies, or physical illness, no matter the darkness of your night, that’s the time to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

When you’ve got nothing else but Jesus, I assure you, he is enough and more than enough!

WHEN WE FACE THE IMPOSSIBILITIES OF LIFE, THAT’S THE TIME TO HANG ON IN FAITH AND TO HOPE ON IN FAITH.
