Honest Prayers

Today's reading: Psalm 109:1-31

David does quite a bit of talking with God in Psalm 109. And once he begins talking, he truly lets go and tells God everything. It's a beautiful picture of prayer and how through prayer we can pour out our hearts to God. Notice David's words in verse 4 where in response to his troubles he states, "I give myself to prayer."

So is "giving yourself to prayer" a habit for you? Is it your custom to tell God everything that's on your heart when you talk with Him? What happens to your attitude and heart when you speak openly with God? Tami
