Incredible Shield

today's reading.
Ephesians 6:10-20   Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might...

the blog.
Ephesians 6:16 spoke loudly to me this morning. "In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one." You see my husband and I are in the middle of selling one house and buying another right now. That means change, uncertainty, details, lots of tasks to be completed--and yes, stress. When you think about it, this could be a ripe environment for Satan to get in and get us off track spiritually if we're not careful. So the reminder that we can extinguish all Satan's flaming darts with the shield of faith was just what I needed today.

How has faith protected you and helped you stay on track spiritually in the past? How will you use this incredible shield today? Tami
