Benefitting Servants

Today's reading: Psalm 116:1-19

God's goodness, mercy, provision, protection and comfort were so evident to me as I identified with the psalmist and his song to God in Psalm 116. Verse 12 puts before us the pertinent question, "What shall I render to the Lord for all his benefits to me?" And then verses 16 and 17 aptly point out that we are servants of God and as such, we should be offering Him the sacrifice of thanksgiving and calling on His name.

So how would you describe being a servant of God and the benefits that come with that to someone who doesn't know Christ? What does living as God's servant look like in your day to day life? Tami
