Only Truth

Today's reading: 2 Peter 2:1-22

Peter puts out a strong warning against false teachers and teaching. But rather than going into detail to describe what some of this false teaching might look like, Peter instead spends quite a bit of time explaining the penalty or judgment that will come to those people who are leading others away from God's truth, even providing us with examples from the past.

What did this chapter show you about how God values righteousness (what's right, honest and true)? What did it reveal about the importance of being in and knowing God's Word? Tami
