Faith, Not Law

Today's reading: Galatians 3:15-29

The Law was given to make us aware of our sin and to help us control and keep our sin in check. But our attempts to keep the Law (which, by the way, we are unable to do) will never be able to make us right with God (see Romans 3:20). The only way we can know God personally and have a relationship with Him is through placing our faith in Jesus Christ (believing that Christ died for our sins).

Are you still trying to keep the Law (be a "good person"; follow the "rules") or are you living by faith in what Jesus did for you on the cross? Tami
