Acts 6    Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint by the Hellenists arose against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution...

think about it.
Describe the problem the church had and their solution (6:1-7). What does this say about roles and service within the body of believers? How did Stephen get into trouble (6:8-15)? What was his response (7:1-16)? What do you learn from Stephen's courage? About facing false accusations?

When you're doing work for the Lord, one of the things you should expect is opposition. Now sometimes you know exactly where your opposition will come from, but other times it comes from somewhere you wouldn't necessarily expect. That's pretty much what we see as we begin reading about Stephen in Acts 6:1-7:16.
