today's reading.
2 Timothy 2:19-26   But God's firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity"...

the blog.
As I was reading Paul's words about living for the Lord and being a vessel, my immediate thought was That's me. I'm a vessel! And as I finished the passage with Paul's description of some of the qualities of a person who is an honorable vessel, I did a little assessing, looking back over the past week or so to see what kind of a vessel I had been. I checked myself against what Paul had written and also thought about what being a useful vessel for God could and should look like for me in my life situation.

So think about the past week or so, would you say you've been an honorable vessel for the Lord? How have you been useful for God's good work? What about the coming week? Tami
