today's reading.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12   Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed...

the blog.
When we think about end times, typically the Book of Revelation comes to mind. But there are a number of other places in the Bible that talk about end times and provide us with information about that period. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 is one such passage. Paul is writing to calm people's hearts and put before them a correct understanding of what's going to take place in the future. To do that, he writes quite a bit about the antichrist (man of lawlessness).

So what did you learn about the antichrist and/or end times from 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12? What did this passage reveal to you about God's plan and how it will unfold? Tami W.
