Today's Reading: 1 Samuel 19:8-24
Jonathan's candid talk with Saul temporarily resolves the situation between Saul and David. But this peaceful time doesn't last long. After David is once again successful against the Philistine army, Saul turns right back to his murderous thinking. The situation is dire with David literally running for his life. But what we see is that God's hand of protection is absolutely over David. Despite Saul knowing exactly where David is and sending troops (including himself) to capture him, God will not allow anyone to touch David. What an incredible display of God's supernatural power.
