Final Instructions

Today's reading: 1 Corinthians 16: 1-24

Paul wraps up his lengthy and instructive letter to the believers in Corinth in 1 Corinthians 16. He's still providing instruction at this point, but his tone is now more relaxed. What I appreciated most about Paul's sign off was how he took the opportunity to, once again, encourage and reinforce the faith of this group of young believers.

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." (vs.13-14).

Good advice for the Corinthians and good advice for us today!

Like Paul, who can/will you boost up and encourage to stand firm in their faith this week? How will you put 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 into practice? Tami
