Faithful Through and Through

today's reading.
Psalms 89:1-18    I will sing of the steadfast love of the LORD, forever; with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations...

think about it.
What is the psalmist making known (89:1-2)? How is God's faithfulness demonstrated (89:3-18)? How have you seen God's faithfulness in your life?

the blog.
You can't read Psalm 89:1-18 without seeing the repeated declarations of God's faithfulness. I read through this passage a couple of times and I found myself coming back and considering verse 11 and how that relates to God's faithfulness. "The heavens are yours; the earth also is yours; the world and all that is in it, you have founded them."

My thoughts were basically this: If the heavens and the earth and the world are God's, and He's been faithful with them, then what does that show me about God's faithfulness to me? Let me put it another way. Since God has been faithful with HUGE things (heaven, earth, creation) shouldn't we be able, willing and eager to trust that He will be faithful with us as well? Tami W.
