Great, yet Humble

today's reading.
Luke 5:12-16    While he was in one of the cities, there came a man full of leprosy. And when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean"...

the blog.
For the next few days Jesus is healing people in our readings. Today it's a man with leprosy. Now I love the fact that this man got healed in Luke 5:12-16, but Jesus was the real attention getter for me. He is so powerful. And what He is doing is completely awesome. Yet, Jesus doesn't make a big deal about any of it. He doesn't seek the spotlight. There's no self-promotion, no boasting, no pride.

So what did you learn from Jesus' actions? Based on this passage, how important is a humble heart when we're serving the Lord? Tami W.
