No Waiting

today's reading.
Nehemiah 13:1-14    On that day they read from the Book of Moses in the hearing of the people. And in it was found written that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever enter the assembly of God...

The first three verses of Nehemiah 13 were significant for me. The people are reading the Law and they discover that what they're doing, intermarrying with the Ammonites and the Moabites, is contrary to God's commands. So what did they do? They immediately took action to correct the situation.

So how do you typically respond when you discover new Truth in God's Word? What does our manner of response reveal about our heart and commitment to the Lord? Tami W.
