For the Lord

Today's reading: 1 Corinthians 6:12-19

One of the struggles of the church in Corinth was sexual immorality. So as we reach 1 Corinthians 6: 12-19 we, once again, see Paul addressing this problem by very plainly letting us know that as followers of Christ, our bodies are meant for the Lord.

"The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body" (vs. 13).

Do you think about your body as being meant for the Lord? How does knowing that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit impact your thinking, and ultimately actions? Tami
