Servant

Today's reading: Psalm 119:121-129 (Ayin)

The fact that I am a "servant" of the Lord came across clearly today. I was drawn to verses 124-125 and the requests of the psalmist who has identified himself as a servant.

124Deal with your servant according to your steadfast love,
and teach me your statutes.

125I am your servant; give me understanding,
that I may know your testimonies!

When you think of being a "servant" of God, what types of things come to mind with regard to actions, words and thoughts? What does being God's servant mean for you? Tami
