Today's reading: 1 Corinthians 15:1-34

The believers in Corinth are being influenced by false claims and teaching as well as the culture around them, and as a result, they are confused about, and questioning, the gospel message. So Paul reconfirms and reminds them of Christ's death and resurrection, and the fact that all that has happened has been in accordance with the Scriptures. Paul goes on to point out that hundreds of people were eyewitnesses to the resurrected Jesus, and then hits hard on how we would have no basis for hope and how our faith would be in vain if Christ had not been raised from the dead.

How might you use this passage to share the gospel with someone? Why do you think Paul included a listing of eyewitness accounts in his writing? Tami
